Rebekah Aldridge is a Physician’s Assistant at the Grantsville Medical Clinic. Alex graduated from Grantsville High School and attended Utah Valley University, where he achieved a BS in Biology. He then went onto Keiser University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL and obtained an MS in Physician Assistant Studies. Alex has spent the last year-and-a-half working in a rural clinic in Yreka, CA but is excited to bring his young family home to the community he grew up in and that they love and know.
Alex loves spending time with his wife and children doing adventurous things. They enjoy camping, hiking, and mountaineering. Some of his many hobbies include writing novels, scuba diving, rock climbing, and skiing.

Al Parker, MD, is a Board Certified Family Medicine physician at our Tooele Medical Group Family Medicine location. He received his undergraduate degree from Georgia College and State University, then went on to graduate from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia as a Doctor of Medicine. He completed his residency at University of Alabama, Birmingham. Al Parker has had over 20 years of experience serving patients in the ER, Hospital Medicine, Urgent Care, and Hospice and Palliative Medicine. He has received many honors and awards throughout his professional experience, including: Resident teacher of the year, Honors Family Medicine and Pediatrics, and Chief Resident.

Catherine Carter is a Family Nurse Practitioner at the Stansbury Springs Health Center. She has several years of Primary Care clinical experience and 23 years of nursing experience. She has an interest in providing evidence based holistic care to patients. Catherine graduated with her Nursing degree from the University of Phoenix in 1998 and completed her Family Nurse Practitioner Masters Degree in 2010. While working as a Family Nurse Practitioner at the VA Western Salt Lake City Community Based Outpatient Clinic, she was a mentor for the Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant students at University of Utah, BYU, and Gonzaga University.

Dr. Cashmore’s specialty is General Surgery with Oquirrh Surgical Services. He graduated from George Washington University in 1996 and completed a residency at the University of California in Irvine in 2005. He served in the US Air Force as a general surgeon at Holloman Air Force Base in Alamogordo, New Mexico. He has also worked in both Heber and Mt. Pleasant, Utah as the sole provider of General Surgical and endoscopic care. Now a general surgeon at Oquirrh Surgical Services, Dr. Cashmore lives in Stansbury Park. Dr. Daynes is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon at Tooele Medical Group Orthopedics & Sports Medicine. He was born in California and raised in Salt Lake City. He graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor’s degree in Spanish Literature in 2004. He completed his orthopedic internship and residency in Detroit, Michigan during which he received training in trauma, sports medicine, joint replacement, and surgery. He recently completed a fellowship in sports medicine and cartilage restoration in Indianapolis, Indiana. Dr. Daynes believes that the body, and particularly the musculoskeletal system, has an unprecedented ability to heal. Dr. Daynes and his wife have four children. They live in Stansbury Park. Cassie Broadhead is a Physician’s Assistant at Tooele Medical Group Orthopedics & Sports Medicine. She is licensed in Utah and Wyoming and is also a licensed EMT. She completed her Bachelor’s Degree from BYU in Exercise Science and later, a Masters of Physician Assistant Studies from Idaho State University. She has coached basketball at BYU and Timpview High School and also spent five years as a horseback riding instructor. She has specific experience in bone and joint surgery as an orthopedic physician assistant as well as in primary and urgent care. Mike Rady is an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner located at Tooele Medical Group Orthopedics & Sports Medicine with a Masters of Science in Nursing from Maryville University in Missouri. He received his undergraduate degree from BYU-Idaho and moved to Tooele in 2001. From 2001 – 2019, he worked as a nurse in Mountain West Medical Center’s Emergency Room, Cath Lab, and ICU. Mike has extensive experience in orthopedics and makes patient experience his top priority. He has been married for 21 years and has 4 children, is active in his church, and served a mission for his church in Hungary, Budapest. Dr. June Chavez is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Utah. She obtained her undergraduate degree in biology at Columbia University in New York City. Dr. Chavez subsequently completed her medical degree and neurosurgical residency at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. She then obtained a Master of Science in Public Health and completed a complex spine fellowship in the Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Utah. He went on to obtain a masters degree in public health from the University of Texas and a doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from the Touro University-Nevada College of Osteopathic Medicine. After completing his residency in Dayton, Ohio, Dr. Rich and his family moved to Stansbury Park.
Dr. Rich and his wife have six kids – three boys and three girls. Most of his time outside of work is spent keeping up with their various interests and activities. Dr. Lazernick graduated Cum Laude from Old Dominion University in Virginia with her BS degree in Chemistry. She later received her Medical Doctorate from Eastern Virginia Medical School and completed her OB/GYN residency at Virginia Commonwealth University. Dr. Lazernick served as president of the Wilderness Medicine Club and started MedWAR at Eastern Virginia Medical School. Her goal is to provide complete obstetric and gynecological care for each stage of her patient’s lives from routine obstetric and preventative care to hormone replacement therapy and minimally invasive procedures. Dr. Megan Shutts-Karjola is with Wellprings Women’s Care and received her undergraduate degree in Biology from Saint Lawrence University in Canton, New York and went on to complete her Medical Doctorate at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Betheseda, Maryland. Dr. Meena Aserlind is an OB/GYN at our Wellsprings Women’s Care location. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering at Clemson University in South Carolina. She then went on to receive her Doctorate of Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina. She completed her residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida. She offers quality prenatal and gynecological care to her patients.
In her free time, Dr. Aserlind enjoys skiing, hiking, scuba diving, and tennis. She also loves to travel to historic places, she has been to the ruins of Pompeii, Chichen Itza, and Russia for the World Cup!
